By placing any type of alarm clock, telephone or any other AUDIBLE alarm next to it, the Universal Sound Converter/Transmitter will convert the audio alarm into an alerting signal. It has an outlet to plug in a lamp to flash or to activate a 120V bed or pillow vibrator. It will also transmit to activate any Sonic Alert remote receiver(s) in other rooms (see the "Notification/Alerting Systems" category for info on these receivers). Built-in adjustible sensitivity control included. Great for one room or travel use. Plugs into any standard 120V outlet.
